Andy Murray is presently Chief Customer Officer, Walmart Asda, U.K.

Prior to Walmart, Murray founded Mercury11 in October of 2011, a marketing technology agency.  Before Mercury 11, Murray was Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi X, an agency he founded in 1997. Saatchi X is a pioneer in shopper marketing and quickly became a global leader with thirteen offices across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas.  Before founding Saatchi & Saatchi X, Murray was VP of Marketing and Creative for the Hallmark subsidiary DaySpring Cards. Earlier in his career, he held several technology-related positions at Procter & Gamble, including membership in the industry-leading P&G Walmart Customer team in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Murray also inspired the creation of and Chaired the University of Arkansas Center for Retailing’s Emerging Trends Conference. Founded in 2000 and attended by Fortune 500 executives, the Conference is the site of the annual awards of the Andy Murray Shopper Marketing Scholarship funded by Saatchi & Saatchi.

A frequent speaker and writer on retail marketing, entrepreneurship, and how to unlock the creative potential of organizations, Murray serves on the Executive Council at The Soderquist  Center for Leadership and Ethics and the board of Compassion House. He is also a lifetime Honorary Board member of the University of Arkansas Center for Retailing Excellence.
